Beverly Hills 90210

Sunday, July 15, 2007
Time: 7:19pm PST
Happy Sunday! We went to Mosaic at Beverly Hills High School this morning. It was really interesting. The core dynamic of the attendees is 18-25 yrs old and 80% single. The sermon was very focused toward that group. Ben and Sam really enjoyed the humor that was infused during the service. It lasted 1 ½ hours and there was a praise team with a male and female singer.

After running around a little and grabbing some lunch, the kids and I headed for the beach while Lee ran to get some supplies and attend another Mosaic service this evening at a different venue. Samantha should be a dolphin. She won’t get out of the ocean. After 3 hours and Ben shivering from the water, I finally had to drag her out. They love playing in the waves! She is driving us crazy wanting to be down at the beach all the time. Tomorrow we will be checking out the sights. Before church, we had the chance to drive down Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills. Unfortunately, there weren’t any stars around at 10am on Sunday morning.

Well that is the scoop for now. Talk to you soon!

Hi Carlsons
Well now that you are in LA, you can't go much further West unless you take a boat or plane!!

Note for those who are keeping up with your Blog. You can view most of your pictures in a enlarged format by clicking on them. However, they open in a form of Internet Explorer and cannot be viewed in total due to the native high picture resolution of the camera. There are no 'side bars' to move to other portions of the picture. You can see them in full format by clicking on the thumbnail picture to open and then you have to save it in its native resolution. You can then open the saved picture with some other picture viewer (even IE) on your computer.

Michele - Sorry if Ben wants a 'pink Caddy' he will have to wait to possibly find one in Elvis's museum some day. The car shown in the Vegas Blog is a Ford Crown Victoria, vintage '55 or '56! I had a two-tone Victoria in my younger days!

Pray that you will not be experiencing anymore problems with the truck.

Hey Larry,
It is great to hear from you. Thanks for correcting my ignorance in car models. I just know the car was very cool! Take care!
