Hi Everyone,
We finally stopped at 2:30am last night or should I say this morning. We pulled into a rest area just south of Medina, OH. Sandwiched between the big rigs, we unfolded from the car, started the generator, and fell into bed. The kids had been asleep in the truck, so they were back to sleep in short time. I was having trouble sleeping in the truck, so our bed felt wonderful. Unfortunately, my goal-minded husband awoke at 6:30am and felt we needed to get on the road. He never gets up that early! Anyway, we washed, dressed, grabbed breakfast in the camper, and headed out.
The day is beautiful. I haven’t fully appreciated it because I was having no problem sleeping in the truck this morning. I think exhaustion caught up with me. We will be pulling into a rest area soon for lunch. We just went around Indianapolis. I think we are shooting for St. Louis, then we will see if there is something fun to do later today. Ben suggested an aquarium, so we will look into it.
So for the time being…all is well and we are ahead of schedule. I’ll let you know what the rest of the day holds. Until we meet again, God bless.

HI Carlson Crew,
I'm so glad to see that you made it through your first night in good shape! I pray that God opens new vistas and experiences for you to enjoy together. It's great that you can keep us updated this way. I think I've finally got it figured out how to post a comment (I guess I'll knw in a minute). Anyway - take care and get lots of REST and renewal.
